bonjour guys, kwik suggestion, maybe a bit late for this.

pisses me off that everytime i go back into the main list from accessing the disc settings /renaming that the list goes back to the start again.

would itbe possible to go back to the point in the list where the disc screen was accessed.
e.g. if i click on guitar hero and download a cheat, then go back into the list, the list refreshes then goes back to the start. i would prefer to go back to the guiotar hero name instead

thoughts?
cheers

I second this request, even when downloading covers, switching views, or even play a game and come back to the menu if it were in the menu where you left off, that would be great!

still getting this failing to load game problem with dual partition & cios rev 14..
frown.gif

however think I have investigated something further into it, which may shed some light on it...

when I get prompted on boot to select cios revision (which may I add is very rarely, only came about because I was messing with preloader b4hand), I then select IOS 249 the game menu then loads almost instantly, games will start no problem!...

However if I don't get prompted to select cios (majority of the time) menu/gx loads but, games will not load...

testing latest revision btw..

may I re-iterate I had no problem using dual partition prior to to version 648...

hope this find helps somewhat to fixing the problem...

How do you boot your loader? It sounds more like a drive issue than a cIOS or loader issue, like your drive is not fully on when you boot the loader.

via channel forwarder and from usb..

note the cios prompt very very rarely happens if at all, it only came about because I was fiddling with the drive & preloader settings..
again as I said earlier the booting game problem never came about with loader version below revision 648 with cios rev 14 (dual partition)

since that revision normally gx will boot up.. games list will work fine.. but games will not load... but they do if prompted for cios version first on boot of gx

Just tried doing this myself with revision 675... It's true! Everything works great if you first disconnect the USB device, then select IOS on the connect screen. Doing the same thing if having the USB cord in when starting the loader, gives me a code dump at game start.'

Edit: Some info

4.0E
GX rev 675 (although the same problem applies for all revisions starting with 648)
cIOS 38 rev 14
3 partitions on a WD Elements 1 TB - which is the exact same setup as sl33p, for whom everything works (although he might not have the 1 TB version).

You know I have had that too code dumps trying to start games but only when trying to boot ntsc game (I have a pal system). Else where it been getting a black screen or returning to the system menu

nice to see my theory is working for someone else.. too..

Hopefully it is a step closer to this problem being solved..

Maybe I should try to convince logan to be part of the site too

PS: GIANTpune, you sure committed a lot releases for this sort time oO . Niceeeee.

PS2: @ anyone: if anything at the site is outdated plz pm me to fix it. except releases of course.

Change the 002 fix option from ON to Anti.

I tested the last Build with Cios Rev 14 and the Game " The Conduit " ! The Game starts with standart settings ! I have the Usb Loader on Hdd ! When a sd Card is in Slot the Game resets the wii to the systemmenue ! But when i boot without a SD card the game start perfect !

Why ?

Settings etc. is cleared !

I have a similar problem with the conduit. The last USB Loader GX version that I could start The Conduit with was 648. (I don't know exactly where the problem arose, though. I can not get intermediate versions.)

If I try to start The Conduit with newer versions of USB Loader GX the Wii just resets to the system menu/HBC - depending on where it was started from. I have tried all possible setting changes that I can think of. 002 fix on or anti gives black screen. I also tried downloading everything from scratch with the PC program "USB Loader GX 1.0 Installer" and installing it to a new SD card.

Am I doing something wrong?

Yeah, basically since the compile guide came, many people started to compile on their own.
The loader got many new features. I still keep the readmii up to date if you need help with something

I checked the site and it seems pretty up to date now

@tj_cool, i have a little change for the readmii:

Guide by GBAtemp member NeoRame

1) Download the wiiload installer found here
2) Connect the wii to wifi. Go to the Homebrew channel and press Home. You will find your wiis IP here.
3) Run the Installer and choose next. Enter the wii IP and choose install.
4) Let it finish and reboot your computer (see you soon :-) ) you are done!! [You dont need to reboot on Win XP maybe on Vista and win 7, too. but i haven't test it on Vista and Win7.]
5) Welcome back. Launch the USB loader GX and go to the Homebrew Launcher
6) On your PC, double click a .wad .dol or .elf to send it to the Wii or via context menü (Send to Wii). If you send a wad, you will be asked to (un)install it or not.

HUGE FAQ update. Almost every suggested question is now answered there

@ tj_cool: thanks for the welcome and the readmii. I'm still on vacations though.

@ neorama: leave the reboot stuff there. Long ago (when none of the coders was using wiiload), I installed it at a windows 7 machine and I couldn't get it working until I reboot my machine

Have you tried booting the loader after turning ALL Preloader hacks OFF? I had some boot issues a while back that were resolved by turning off all of my preloader hacks. There really aren't many hacks you might need while using the loader other than the "copy saves" hack but you can just turn that on when you plan on using it. You might need to reboot your system after turning off all the hacks, then reboot and start the loader (if you haven't tried this already).

Same problem here, i think i'm using ~rev630. I tried to update (rev676?) but no games worked after that. Back to ~rev630, everthing is ok. (cIOS14 installed, 3.2E, Images on SD, 2 partitions on HDD).

Thanks to the USB Loader GX team, it's an excellent loader.

Is it possible that there are some issues with cIOS rev 14 on 3.2 systems? I know Waninkoko has said that he was having trouble with emulating a NAND with 3.2 installed.

Why are people still on 3.2 anyway?

Maybe one of you cavemen on 3.2 can do an update and test to see if that is your issue.

I have test it again. I have installed the Forwarder and have the USBloader on my other Partition on HDD. My system is 4.1 without preloader etc.. Now when i Boot the usbloader an my Game " The Conduit " the USB loader make a reset into the system Menue ! Now i make the same but without my SD Card ( There are a few Homebrew apps), the Game loads perfect.

Question about Game Language :
QUOTE said:
Game language --- The language that is passed to the game when it is booted. If the language is supported by the game, it will be used in game.
I've got a game that contains FR, but as it was released only in US so it has only an US synopsis. If I change the game language I will access to the synopsis but the game will load in US ? Is there a way to change that ?
