Hacking USB Loader GX

This is a known issue that is yet to be fixed. Only seems to happen on Wii Sports Resort for some reason.

right... think i have figured it out..

USB loader GX fails to work with cios rev 14 with dual partitions set up..

i.e. one wbfs and the other fat 32...

I just tested on an additional drive with one wbfs partition set up.. worked perfectly..

however dual partitions set up on my hard drive i get a black screen on game load up..

i have even changed the order of the partitions.. with the same results..

Thanks @Logan for the revision.

But i think it has an error (not your fault):
It doesnt seem to load titles.txt?

All names are normal (Sports Pack for Revolution etc.).
Hope that will get fixed.

just to confirm further.. i deleted the additional partition (fat 32) and all works fine now...

so support for dual partition setup is now broken on usb loader gx with cios rev 14..

the strange thing is it will load the usb loader from the hard drive on a dual set up but not the game..

Did it work on older revs?
There is an option called Titles from XML in the GUI settings I believe, try changing it and see what it does

Is there a way to see wiitdb game description from UL GX ?
UL GX still freezes with rev14 when trying to run a 2nd game ?

I would say read the readmii, but because you can't access it: Highlight a game and press 2 to open the game info screen. To view the synopsis, press A at the game info screen.

May have got missed tagged on the end of my r656 post. Just to clarify its nothing my end, is anyone else getting the same problem below on r656?

r656 on the Title Launcher page the code for the title is coming up, however the names are no longer showing. What is showing is a 8 digit number incased in brackets i.e. HAXX (48415858)

I can confirm this!
Reverting back to Rev 10 for now

I have a dual partition too and it works fine in USB Loader GX and cIOS rev14.

Which means it could be just a compatibility issue with some types of drives. Or something to do with which USB port the hard drive is plugged into.

Those having problems, who may have been on a revision

Reverting back to Rev 10 for now

I have all running from HD and it works perfect.
HD has two partitions. Partition 1 FAT32/ Partition 2 WBFS.

cIOS rev 14 / USB Loader r648 / System Menu 4.1
