I found an old 16 GB SanDisk USB in my backpack, which was luckily a USB 2.0, and tried it on my vWii. I realized it read the USB just fine and decided to install a game in USB Loader GX. I think it's the latest version, not sure though. Anyway, I pop in Mario Kart Wii and clicked Yes, and it was fine until it got to 0.83%. Then, it just stopped. So I clicked Cancel, and it made the sound and everything, but the progress box didn't go away. I'm scared thinking if I take out my disc or unplug the console my disc won't work anymore. Can someone help me solve this issue or at least let me know if it's safe to unplug my Wii U? Firmware is IOS58.

PLEASE. ANYBODY.
Don't think anything will happen to the disc at all. (It's just reading, not writing) Even if somehow it does mess up the disc, they are pretty cheap, and your data is saved to your system, not the disc.

Thanks. I can't believe it took that long for a reply. :/
Also, you've technically already calmed me down by helping me, so good job.
