Hacking USB Loader GX crashes to homebrew channel, how to fix?

I recently homebrewed my old wii (4.3U) , and I can't get usb loader gx to work. I've placed two games (Kirby's Dream Collection and Metroid Prime Trilogy) on my HDD and the titles show up on the list and play the channel jingle, but when I try to start up a game it just kicks me back to the homebrew channel.

Any ideas or help would be greatly appreciated.
