I have a new, black Wii (4.3U).
I softmodded it following this guide.
I am running USB Loader GX 1.0 r938
My USB device is 8gb, formatted as 1 partition- WBFS.

Everything on my Wii works great, I can run homebrew and load games with USB Loader GX, but when I try to install/dump a game with USB Loader GX, I get a stack dump/black screen. According to the hours I've spent reading, I need Herme's CIOS222. But with the tutorial I followed, I already have that. SysCheck shows "IOS222 (rev 4): Trucha Bug, ES Identify, NAND Access, USB2.0"

I am able to backup games using DVD Dumper (1.3 did not work for me but 1.2 did) and with uLoader 5.1E. But I'd rather use USB Loader GX.

If anyone has any advice for me I'd be very appreciative. Thanks in advance.

Yep, USB Loader GX gives some trouble.

I´d recommend Wiiflow/USB CFG to dump your games. (CFG also comes with options like 1:1 dump or dvd-game update skip)

Thank you very much for your help and quick replies.
I guess I don't really care which program I use as long as it backs up games (including DL, like SSBB) quickly.
I will look into WiiFlow and Configurable USB loader. I just want to be using the best option... I thought that was USB Loader GX, glad I'm wrong.
