Hacking Usb Loader GX boots me back to wii menu

I've been trying to run backups from usb for about 4 hours to no avail. Would appreciate some help.

I do have priiloader. As for my hard drives format, I have no idea. If it helps I was trying to run it via Usb.

i recommend to install d2x v10 in slot 249,250 the one with both usb port compatibility i cant look it up right now but thats the latest usb loader ios and the best one also i recommend to use fat32 for that and wii backup manager for the tool to install backups to your harddrive(Sorry for bad english)

im using that too try plugging it in a different port,do you have internet connection on your Wii?

then as i said try installing d2x v10 ios 249 with base ios 56,and d2x v10 ios 250 with base 57 and try it out after that warning:MAKE SURE ITS NOT vWii ONE AS THAT CAN BRICK YOUR WII sorry for capslock

Alright, I did what you said and it's still resetting back to the wii menu, switching usb ports just makes it fail to read anything.

You updated your slot 249 and 250 to d2x v10 (base56 and base57 respectively)?
v10 and v10-alt should be fine. But use v10 if you don't need to use two HDD at the same time, as v10-alt has less compatibility with games.


Which version of the loader are you using? Full channel or using SD/USB launched from homebrew channel/Forwarder?
Which revision of the loader (as you had an old cIOS, maybe you followed an old tutorial and are using an old revision). Latest revision as of today is r1231. use the files located in the IOS249 folder.

Delete the GXGlobal.cfg in the /apps/usbloader_gx/ folder
if it's not there, look in /config/ folder on the root of your first device (SD, usb etc.)
Be sure to use the default meta.xml provided with the r1231, as it contains information on which IOS to use to mount HDD.
