Hacking USB LOADER 1.0 by waninkoko

Anyone have a .wad file of rev 9? I did the wad and network install from the .dol and when I go to load up Backup Launcher, I get a DVD Read Error 349. But, if I install a rev such as 7 or 8 from a .wad file, my BUL works fine.

Its weird that my Wii only works with .wad and not the .dol wad

Someone should write a guide for us noobies to show us how to install this and a small FAQ post for this would be nice.

Guide:

Step 1. Install cIOS rev9.
Step 2. Run USBloader from Homebrew channel or whatever.

Step 3. Feel like a moron for needing a guide for this.

Works good for me but I am just using a 2GB microSD with its reader

Really great and I already tried WiiPlay/Sports and both worked great!

if you cannot figure it out yourself by reading through this thread and other threads on this forum, you should NOT be installing this.. simple as that


i could train a fucking monkey to install this..

people please. use some of that material inside your skull, it can be helpful. try and take some initiative and think for yourself, it actually is beneficial sometimes.



and now i really will leave the forum for tonight as i think i just lost my sanity as well as half my grey matter trying to comprehend how some people get through the day without someone wiping there own ass

Dumping resident evil 4 wii edition. Going to at least take 30 min to dump. @bolex make sure you have everthing installed and your hdd plugged in.

Me. Try another USB mass storage device (pen drive, HDD, etc.) or remove others USB devices.

What i find funny is people complaining that it takes 20-90 minutes to dump.....
Try getting your originals using an LG - 8161B external dvd rom and using rawdump and 2-4 hours per dump for an .iso on your PC......come on guys be patient and this even scrubs it for you....SWEET AS!!!!

if by prepare a usb HDD you mean plugging it into your wii then yes...plug it into your wii and run the app

Mmmm, I have everything installed cIOS9 + cIOS USB2 and am using a 4GB Sony USB Pendrive.

I'll try another USB device i guess.

its not your wii... trust me...

Granted I dont post here as much but a lurker. I know its not me. All one has to do is go to HBC, go to the dol for rev 09 and choose either WAD or NETWORK. I chose WAD first. Tried to run Backup Launcher and you hear the disc drive just constantly spin and clicking. Tried NETWORK and same thing. Load rev 07 and 08 from a .wad file via WAD Manager and Backup Launcher works.
