Hacking USB-Backup-Loader possible without cIOS?

With IOS58 and AHBPROT is there any need of a cIOS for USB-Loaders?

Maybe the game has to be temporarily fake-signed or something.

However, there is Uniiloader, which isn't quite what you're looking for. But the maker stopped distributing it.
