Hacking US R4i 3DS Gold (r4ids.cn) doesn't work on European 3DS (region changed from USA).

My American R4i 3DS Gold (r4ids.cn) doesn't work on my European 3DS (region changed from USA with ctrtransfer).

I used TinyFormat (which says deletes MSET exploit, not sure if related) and I also formatted from Settings (for other reasons), and I saw that my card just loads into a black screen.

Is there any way to fix this ? I'm on latest Luma, 11.6 and with B9S (not sure if updated). I can give more info if needed. Thanks !

Do you have correct files on your flashcart SD?

Yeah for proof it works on my US 3DS (my other one) !

US 3DS also has B9S, latest Luma and 11.6, but the flashcard works on it.

Sounds like a wrong version of TWL_FIRM to me.

correct you need a torrent client

Will I need to use a VPN for these ? Anyways it's too late I downloaded them without any... Can I get some sort of message from my ISP for downloading these files ( already happened once for another game ) ?

its possible (less likely if you dont seed back the file)
many ISP's dont like torrents of any kind . . . and those are indeed copyrighted files you downloaded . . . but its not like you are hosting them or downloading kiddy porn . . . so the only (and worst) thing i can see happening is a notice from your ISP

yeah right up front at that . . . and for good reason from what i have seen its a very common issue . . .
