Gaming Upscaling a 3DS Image

I took a picture when playing Animal Crossing New Leaf and wanted to set it as my PC background, but it comes out blurry. Is there a way to upscale the image itself?

If you use an image editor to upscale it, use the Nearest Neighbour setting to make it clear. (this will preserve the pixellation)

Actually, would it be okay if you posted the image here? I want to see what I can do with Photoshop.

try this on the Artwork setting. idk how well it works for 3D stuff, though. (it's great for upscaling drawings)
