Hacking upgrading wii firmware

hey all

looking to upgrade the firmware on a new wii to 3.2E.

how can i do this? it's a brand new wii. dont know which firmware is on it yet as i've not yet opened it. looking to open the box in a couple of days.

which games can upgrade the firmware without doing it through the t'internet???

i believe mario kart/ mario galaxy had the 3.2 update, but if it is a brand new wii chances are it shipped with 3.3 or 3.4, then you need to downgrade

3.3 has two versions, the vanilla and updated 3.3, so don't ever do a natural 3.3 update with a Wii game.

Get it to 3.2 and I suppose stick with it, less trouble.

EoC's guide would be the best for you. IT's titled "3.1-3.4 Twilight", well, some part of it is titled as that.
