Okay so I recently purchased a 1000 psp from a friend of mine that already has 3.40 oe-a on it. I want to update it to a recent (6.61) CFW but I’ve encountered nothing but errors and have searched for hours. I’ve tried using Hellcat recovery with OFW and CFW but no luck. Is this something that I would need a pandora battery for? Thanks!
You should be able to run a 6.60 CFW installer on it.
Check your memorycard for any faults (with h2testw) that might interrupt the process/produce odd errors.

That was exactly my thoughts, but whenever you attempt to update it just throws the "DADADADA" error since it blocks updates on 3.40oe-a. Super frustrating.
At first I thought it may be a memory stick issue, but I tested it on several devices and even used another one that is known working and still nothing. I dont mind messing with it more but I'm not sure what more I can do to it. Thank you for the response!!
