Hacking Hardware Switch won't boot into CFW or OFW after battery replacement.

Hi everyone,

I just did a battery replacement on my switch v1. Didn't really touch anything besides the battery and replacing the termal paste, so no ribbon cable no nothing (just the sd card reader but it seems fine). I'm struggling to get this thing to boot into anything properly. When i try to boot into hekate this shows up:

To be able to get into hekate i need to unplug the sd card reader. When I'm in hekate it reports Nyx is missing, the rest seems fine (sdcard, emmc, etc.), except for the battery which shows some weird stats (like max capacity 723mAh). I have also tried formatting the sdcard and even used another one replacing all files but nothing. I am using a mac by the way.

I ahave also tried to boot into OFW from hekate but I see just a black screen. Tried to boot into atmosphere from RCM but with no luck as well, the atmosphere logo shows up in between green lines followed by what i think is this error (the text is barely visible): A fatal error occurred when running Fuseé. Abort called, fr=0x100100b9 (see attached below).

For some reason it seems to load an old version of Hekate or you maybe are using a newer primary payload.
Note that with an unpatched Switch, the primary payload you inject and the version on the SD card must match.
As stated, there will be dragons, which means a lot of unexplainable funky stuff might happen.

Try updating Hekate (and the primary payload yo inject) on your current SD card or just grab another SD card to test it out.
If you use an emummc, don't format/wipe your SD card.

I have updated hekate to the latest and injected the latest bin, the first error keeps on showing, the old nyx gui seems solved. Still same error when trying to boot atmosphere or ofw.

Indeed, I removed the old battery without removing the board, how can that be related with the issue?

uneven pressure on the midframe leading board wrap along with the midframe twist. Likely you have broken ball joint on APU or RAM

Oh wow, thank you so much because not knowing what could have been was driving me crazy. Is there a solution to this besides motherboard replacement?
