I found this guide http://blog.techsick.com/guides-tutorials/...ak-ps3-modchip/ which states to upgrade your ps3 HDD before upgrading your ps3's firmware. Does this mean that i'm too late to increase the size of my drive now as i have upgraded my firmware already ?
There was an updated 3.41 firmware released to fix a bug in the original 3.41 firmware which prevented some users from upgrading their hard drives.
If you have trouble upgrading, just search for a site hosting the newer 3.41 firmware and update it.
I grabbed it from a torrent site as I was on the original 3.41 firmware.
