Hey,

I recently bought a used Wii. I updated the prriloader today, but I have no clue if the Wii is uptodate. I also noticed that bootmii is just installed as IOS.

Can someone take a look at the syscheck?

Nope. The only thing I noticed is some of the system IOSes (below 200) have the Trucha bug restored. That could trigger an update request if you don't have updates blocked with something like Priiloader.

So it seems that ModMii prefers the Truch Bug patch for the the IOS <202 ?

Those IOSes ModMii patched with Trucha Bug were ones that had been used for previous System Menus. The official updates would stub them and give them a slightly higher version number than the last working one. For example the last official IOS60 is v6400, it came with SM 4.2 update but is is a stub version, IOS60v6174 (last working version) was the IOS used by SMs 4.0/4.1.

ModMii takes that IOS60v6174 patches it with Trucha Bug and edits the version number to 16174 (to raise it higher than stubs but indicative of its origin) and installs it in every slot that previously had a SM IOS. That way if you did install another SM you have an IOS to run it and NOT a bricked console. And with higher versions they survive an accidental official update.

Your 4.1 SM, lack of officially stubbed IOSes, and the couple of cIOSes (IOS222, IOS223, IOS249, IOS250) that Nintendo did release stub versions (v65280) for would trigger an update prompt if you don't use Priiloader but the issue is moot as you do have it installed, just be sure to enable the block updates hacks.

I thought that I wont need the stub IOSes anyway, since they are useless? What do you mean I am missing some cIOSes? IOS222 hermes v4 is installed for example, I knew it was vs 5.1 before, but I still have the stubed IOSes patched with cIOS v6 (IOS224). Modmii is a recently updated tool, maybe it prefers those changes because u could choose between the v4 and v6 release of hermes cIOSes?

How does a perfect syscheck look like?

Correct, you don't need stubbed IOSes, but an official update would install them.
No, your Syscheck is fine and shouldn't give you any issues as long as you have the Priiloader block update hacks enabled.

There was a comment that stated your less than 200 patched IOSes could trigger an update request (update doesn't care if they are patched it only looks at the version number, @16174 they would be fine), I was clarifying the 3 items that would trigger an update request:
  1. SM 4.1, current version is 4.3
  2. Lack of stubbed IOSes, with them missing an official update would trigger and would install them just because
  3. Nintendo did release stub IOSes for slots 222, 223, 249, 250, and 254 each as v65280, because your versions are v4, v4, v21008, v21008, and v65281 respectively the 4 would trigger an update with Bootmii as IOS the only exception as it has a higher version number then the stub. (I see now that my original wording for this part may have been confusing)
ModMii uses the v4 Hermes in those slots for better compatibility

As long as your setup is running all of your games, then it is perfect. With the exception of having the lower stub IOSes removed, that Syscheck is the generally accepted normal. It does have extra cIOSes that probably won't ever be used, but that is normal.

Hello.:)

Your sysCheck looks ok you can maybe do a little "fine Tuning if you like":

ftftff.jpg

You can change the cIOSes 202/222/223/224 for a better Game compatibility (some Singing/Guitar Games still needs these).:)

You can also try to change these:

IOS249[56] (rev 65535, Info: d2x-v10beta52): Trucha Bug, NAND Access, USB 2.0
IOS250[57] (rev 65535, Info: d2x-v10beta52): Trucha Bug, NAND Access, USB 2.0

to the suggested.

Simply Drag and Drop your sysCheck.csv on the ModMii Shortcut and the Download Window opens.

After the Changeings please make an sysCheck again

But your Loader Issues can be other Reasons.

- USB device (HDD or USB Stick/Thumbdrive and so on) ?
- Format of your USB Device (FAT32 HIGHLY recommended)
- One or more Partitions on your USB Device ?
- USB Device recognized as MBR or GPT Drive ?

- How are your Wii Games transferred from the PC to the USB Device ?
- USB Device plugged into the correct USB Port 0

What ya know I only works on wfbs format all that agrivation for nothing
.wbfs file format, or a WBFS partition? WBFS partitions are obsolete, not to mention they only work with Wii games, no GameCube games (via Nintendont), no emulator ROMs (or other homebrew for that matter)

Wfbs works fine for me practically the only thing that will work so im good
Use FAT32, 32k or 64k cluster size, and transfer games to it with Wii Backup Manager, that ensures the correct file/folder structure and format. There's absolutely no reason it wouldn't work.

Anyway whatever you do, do not use WBFS manager as that will corrupt games when you add new ones on after deleting some.

Hi I’m curios, my syschk is similar to the one above except on ios249 I don’t have USB 2.0. Only on iOS58. What’s the name of the wad that installs that? Maybe I forgot to do so.
