Hacking Updates for TTDS

Ive had my TTDS for 2 months now and im very happy with it. I had firmware 1.8 then 1.9 came out and 1.10 soon after, im secretly longing for a 1.11 to keep games in numerous folders. I have tried YSMENU and it ok but some of the cheats didnt work with it and it feels like more of a hack than a professional menu like the TTDS one.

How often do the updates come out for the TTDS? i guess its like asking when the ps4 is coming out as probly out when its out kinda thing. Do people ever mod these firmwares to add custom features?

Technically, YSmenu is a mod for the original firmware. I am just a basic programmer, but you could prolly find out how other Flash OS's use the directory system and just add it in. Might have to be greatly modified of course for that to work out.

What are these files being made with anyway??? If i had the program or suite, i would gladly start looking into it and tinkering.
