Hacking Updates for AP

This is probally a noob question, but lets say a new game comes out, and it does not work.

How can i know when the akaio has been updated, and the rom has been fixed or loader, assuming i dont know what those loaders really mean

I got 1.8.5 now and it seems to be the latest update, but how can i find out once a new antipiracy has come out for like pkmn black once it a (u)/(e) gets released?


Also, this section doesnt seem to get updated? because it says there is no 1.8.1 akaio release as a sticky, while there is 1.8.5 already?..

I would suggest keeping an eye on the temp just dont ask for roms, also keep an eye on the acekard site

How do you know if a game has been fixed? Well either check the front page for updates or check the AKAIO forums , or just check here in these forums.
If there is an update, it will be there.
Or if you want loader updates, just use the WIFI updates from AKAIO and it will tell you if there is an update

I cant seem to setup the wifi updates from akaio itself, i just download and replace that, if that works aswell

There was no 1.8.3 fw. That is stickied. 1.8.5/1.8.5a is the latest AKAIO build so far.

1.8.1 was released and stickied here.
1.8.2 was released, but had issues with bricking cards so it was pulled.
1.8.3 was "released" by some people not associated with AKAIO, either as a 1.8.1 or 1.8.2 repack or as something worse.
1.8.4 was skipped to avoid confusion.
1.8.5 was released and stickied here.
1.8.5a is an update ti 1.8.5.
