Hacking Updated Genesis Emu for GC on Wii

Has anyone gotten this to load games from a memory card? I'm trying to get it to work with the SD media launcher and it either says it can't find the memory card or gives me a corrupted list of files.

Larvi: I think the version posted was re-compiled to specifically read Genesis roms off of the DVD.. Perhaps try looking for an older version to load roms off of the memory card..

Self-boot ISO doesnt work on The wii with a cyclowiz however if you use GCOs to boot the DVD and then select the DOL file it works fine, only error im having is with saving it says memory card could not be mounted

I can confirm that it works perfectly using th Chiip. No issues at all.

Are youz trying to save state? Save states should work on memory card where normal in-game saves shouldn't.

No you play with GC controller.

I tested the emulator on my pal wii with component cable and i also have the strange lines at the top of the screen.

I intstalled my WiiKey in a DB-9 housing so I can unplug it from the Wii without opening the case. Like this guy here:

Just this morning we were playing Super Monkey Ball on an original GC disc, and it wouldn't play unless the WiiKey was removed.. Hope I don't have that problem with anything else..

So far, thats the only one.. I don't have many original games, though.. We've been buying lots of used gamecube games for $5-$10.. No idea why Super Monkey Ball wouldn't work..
