Hacking Update RXTools

Hello everyone,

Sorry for this question, but my N3DS has been hacked with using this topic

I used this topic when it was with RxTools in december. Since, it changes a lot of time with the recent activity of hacking.

Now RXTool is updated and I'm looking for a tutorial to update it with keeping my coldboot and of course, all my datas. I have read the guide of RXTools, but I prefer a tutorial from this website. It's almost clear here.

Is anybody can help me please?

why you update rxtools or any CFW its just replacing the files on the SD card (and reinstalling data suite)

You will keep you cold boot and all your games

DELETE the rxTools files and then copy in the new once. Never replace them.

True (though data folder is the main culprit )

Hello you two

Thanks for your help, I only have to replace the rxtools folder on my SD card ? Is it possible to rename the original one and place the new one to prevent an error and have a possible rollback ? In the guide, they mention steps with python ... I will be honest, I'm not sure of myself with this guide !

I think I've just did the update without any trouble !!! I can update now with the settings tool to 10.5 ?

what version fif you get.

If you required 0x1B.bin and 0x16.Bin on the root of your SD card then you got the one that support 10.5

perfect, everything works fine !
Is it normal that the 3d bugs still present ? (must close and reopen the 3ds to make it works )
