Hacking update? problem?

So I just got my Wii today, followed the guide from here got it soft modded really quick tested it out and it works like a dream. but to use online it says I need to update, I thought V4.2u was the newest. so really the question is, is it safe to update?

So I just got my Wii today, followed the guide from here got it soft modded really quick tested it out and it works like a dream. but to use online it says I need to update, I thought V4.2u was the newest. so really the question is, is it safe to update?

Install priiloader. When you turn on the wii hold the reset button to enter priiloader's settings. go into system menu hacks and enable 'block disc updates' and 'block online updates', that will solve your problem. Never update through Nintendo.

That's NOT true, don't worry... I play online with 3.2!
