Haven't updated my 3DS... if the acekard gets fully blocked, i'll begin to play the games on my DS lite again!
Someone can explain why acekard.com work always very fast on their R4i GOLD (who use WOOD) and not on their Acekard 2i ???

The answer is simple, R4i GOLD is done by a completly difrennt team then Acekard 2i.
As for the reason, why they are talking this long, I assume that they are waiting to see if Nintendo will release another update to block flashcarts, so that they would avoid a repeat of what happened, during their previous update, where they released an update to make Acekard work on the 3ds, which was blocked by Nintendo's next update, a week afterwords.
After all, they have a limited number of exploits, which they can use.

Acekard release a first R4i since a long time ago, called "R4i Ultra", and after this one,
they release R4i GOLD who use WOOD, the firmware are exactly the same then a Acekard 2i,
like the R4i Ultra... Do you want to check it ?

One time, Acekard.com made a batch of Acekard 2i, but impossible to upgrade with a regular firmware for Acekard 2i,
so they give to some "Resellers" this pack, when a regular firmware dont work, they can use an other firmware !

My proof is that the R4i Ultra has nothing to do with the R4i Gold from http://r4ids.cn/.
There is an R4i Gold from http://www.r4ids.com/, which was made by the R4i Ultra Team (who is the Acekard Team) and runs a modified version AKAIO, but does not run Wood R4. It is based on the Acekard 2i's hardware (if I remember correctly).
Still, the R4i Gold from http://www.r4ids.com/ has nothing to do with the R4i Gold from http://r4ids.cn/.
But even if they were run by the same team, the Acekard 2i is using older hardware, which has a greatly limited number of exploits. This has been said over and over again by countless members and is pretty much common knowledge. As well upgrading the firmware wasn't even part of the deal nor is it even an advertised feature, it could stop any time now. Where as the R4i Gold 3DS has updated their hardware to allow for more exploits. The Acekard 2i could update their hardware, but there really is no point in updating the hardware this late in the game since the DS scene is nearly dead. You can't expect support to last forever.
Ok, can you show me the both PCB from the Acekard 2i and the R4i GOLD, just to see the big difference of hardware to have more exploit ?

The one with wood it "R4i Gold (3DS)", which is from r4ids.cn.
You have to be EXTREMELY careful with the names and URLs, since there's so many fucking "R4" clones...

in my email account, filled with proof about everything i've ever said in a review. they aren't the same team. acekard sold the design to the old ak2i. everyone and their mother used it to make clones. just because ackeard made the r4 ultra (and got a 1-off build of akaio for it) doesn't mean they are the ones behind every clone. stop with your conspiracy theories. try actually making some contacts in this hobby so that you can post replies based on actual fact.

Still no love for Acekard users. I want to try some new games thats has been released lately. And some old ones too. Maybe if -11 update come then they will release the patch. Hopefully...
