Well they can easily patch it anyways, but in comparision I tought fewer people use HardMod to downgrade than a softwate downgrade anyways.

Not in the root, in the "luma" folder (assuming you're running Luma3DS, but Cakes supports decrypted firmware now too, so, "cakes" folder if you're looking to use it with that).

I hate to rain on your parade, but you might want to remove that firmware link. Firmware files are considered copyrighted material. Not that I care, but it's the site's rules, and the owners have a legitimate reason to be concerned about things like lawsuits. Directing people to the Github page that has the link should be OK though.

They add patches into the Firmware. I mean, it's Nintendo so they know the 3DS from the Ground up!

Installed a9lh but then 3ds suddenly became sysnand 11 and homebrew launcher cant be launched anymore
Going to sell off my 3ds now

The only option for downgrading you have right now would be a hardmod. But there are some reliable members on here who would be happy to do it for you for $20 or so. If all your interested in right now is userland homebrew, just wait a little longer. I may or may not have something planned.
