You'll probably only need to worry about downgrading with it, for which you can use the build of sysupdater in my signature.

Personally, I use it for installing legit CIAs on my 10.5 O3DS because I don't want to risk bricking my main 3DS and I already have a 6.0 2DS and a 9.2 N3DS.

Earlier, I told a Nintendo group that I knew a 3DS update would be coming tonight. I also said that IF I was wrong, I would shove my Monado replica up my ass on camera. Nintendo literally spared my asshole as I was just about to bring out my Monado right after I checked GBATemp.

The friends module has been upgraded since 10.5, IIRC it was upgraded in 10.7 (can someone check that?)

old or new? it's pretty unstable on old but there are some things you can do to make it more stable.
