i bet nintendo is going to wait till the release OoT again to force an update for Oothax. They know people will be getting it for the hax. Thats why they never patched the game.

SafeSysUpdater installs some titles in a certain order, and also verifies that all of the .cia files are valid for your region and model. the risk is pretty low now.

Sorry, I want more information because I'm gonna be very distraught if something happens like this again. I lost a lot of save files on the first try that I'm still trying to restore while Nintendo's trying to patch everything.

Has anyone bricked their 3DS with Safe SysUpdater? Has enough people tested this on 10.7 yet? What should I do if it bricks or something terrible again?

Of course people have bricked with it. It's relatively safe now though. I don't know much about who's tested it on 10.7 though. Perhaps check its thread? Unfortunately, if it bricks your screwed since you'd need a nand backup and a hardmod.

Thanks.

I meant with Safe SysUpdater?

How do you do that though? Can you install any CIA this way? Also, why did you remove part of your post?

It is quite simple. You may have noticed that CIAs of some of the newer eshop games will not work immediately after installing them, you have to enter the eshop after installing said CIA to make it start working. That is what I was asking about, since there was an eshop update it is possible that would no longer work (even if they did, there is a way around it but whoever ripped/created the CIA would need to do some extra work).

lol, you're so egoistic.
I bet you pirated more games than any other user at all. True, it's annoying everyday to see threads like "I'm new and I just want to install cracked games", but I don't want that Nintendo kills homebrew
I did pirate a game: Bigest Loser for DS so I could test out this SLOT-2 pedometer back in 2011.

I want Homebrew to live forever, because it does not cause piracy.

Nintendo has enough money, I don't think they need more.

Fuck anti-piracy.

I'd recommend using the latest SysUpdater that has the new exploit implemented since Safesysupdater installs NATIVE_FIRM quite early, which makes the chance of bricking much higher. Unless of course this has changed recently.

Ok. Idk if this question belongs here, but it's about the SysUpdateder. Since I have 10.7, would the process of downgrading your 3ds be the same for older firmwares? Or does every firmware have a different method?

Process is the same, just use the sysupdater build in my sig and the proper firmware files (Can't link them here, but Google (including the quotation marks) "[MEGA] [CIA/BIN] MSET 4.X & 6.X backups, Browser backups, Update packs (All Regions)")

So, if I were to download it, is there like a 10.7 version and a 10.3 version or just not?

Ok, thanks. And if I have any questions about homebrew, do I do it here, or somewhere else?
