This sounds really great and I look forward to trying it out but my Wii is riddled with various CIOS' so this may be a problem.

The DVD function is only for WODE and this is no Wii Game USB Loader, correct?

having cIOSs shouldn't be a problem, it will only be a problem is u have darkcorp installed or for some other reason the IOSs games normally use are patched.

@sorgeling... great work dude! I got a couple Qs though... until your nand emulator is released (I'm assuming u r referring to deluxe) is this unable to launch wii titles? Also, will it be able to read ISOs, WBFS files and WBFS partitions? Or will an extracted structure be required (like SNEEK+DI)?

This sounds awesome dude! Keep up the great work! (ps. sorry for never being on msn, if we communicate via email or gbatemp PMs I could be a much better beta tester!)

It can launch both Wii And Gamecube games from WODE as i stated in features.
DI plugin for NAND emulator has been created just recently. It was just interesting to make full-featured DI plugin with hardware AES engine. Since i've succeeded then why don't use it.

QUOTEAlso, will it be able to read ISOs, WBFS files and WBFS partitions? Or will an extracted structure be required (like SNEEK+DI)?
It supports ISO and WBFS files on FAT32 and NTFS partitions. ISO files may be splitted if required.
WBFS partitions are NOT supported.

Great work! This could become a standard for backup loading.

It's VERY good

Some Action Replay INFO (read this before asking questions)
Note... to use Action Replay cheat DB's you will need to get the AR save for your region and place it on a GC mem card in Slot B.

You can find these with google. When you get them they will have a .sav extension. You need to convert that to .gci. You can use a tool called "mdsc.exe" to convert from sav to gci.
Then use the GC save app "gcmm" to move the EUR/USA.gci from your SD to your GC mem card.

You would need a 3rd party mem card (for gcmm) with 52 block for EUR, and 30 for PAL if you get the newest AR codes.
AR V1.14 - EUR-Latest Update 08262008 (594 Games) (52 Blocks)
AR V1.14 - US-Latest Update 08262008 (662 games) (30 blocks)
But good googling will find you ....
Combined (693 games )(227 blocks) ... this is all codes for EU/US

The Wiird/ocarina is better imho, you can make your own codes with dolphin the wii/gc emu if you get the latest svn release as it has a code searcher. You can also convert ar to wiird with some tools.

You can convert codes from/to AR/Wiird(ocarina) too....

Sorry for the vague info, but just fyi peeps

and the cmios thing...I used "miospatcher0.2" on "RVL-mios-v4.wad", so I think more versions of mios can be used, but you should use the advised v8 as Sorg mentioned.

Again, sorry for the mess of this. I "might" tidy it up...

Info about "Deluxe" -> LINK

Absolutely superb sorg

I have a feeling this is the future of loading things (I was gonna say usb loading, but it loads everything)

Unless somebody else wants to do it, and if I can find some time, I'll try to make a mockup for a new design. But don't wait for it, I'm really busy these days

...

Anyways, great work, looking forward to fiddle around with this

Blue-K,
thanks for willing

Slimmmmmm,
i didn't know so much about AR
smile.gif

For GC, i prefer AR because you don't need to look for codes - everything is already in AR

Well, may be something is missing. Then you can use Ocarina...

interesting... wonder why it has taken this long to come up with a non cIOS usb loader...
props to you dude.

Sounds amazing!! I read a post further down that WBFS partitions are not supported... is there any plan to support them with future versions?

Thanks again and nice job!
