Gaming Underrated Wii games

Shouldn't we, per definition, remove the top game from this list? Having been voted for that much doesn't make it very underrated, does it?

I'd -1 Sin and Punishment as I can't stand it, love the original though. So if anyone wants to mail me $40 for it, or trade me a nice copy of Red Dead Redemption (PS3) version (USA market only on both) let me know and it's yours as I want it gone and I'm not going to get raped by Lamestop's scammy deals to do it.


Also Hiroshi, vgchartz is terrible and very wrong. NPD can't get ratings from 3 of the largest game retailers in the USA (Walmart, Toys R us, and Target) as they refuse to share. I know Zack and Wiki did crappy, but for all we know they did twice what vgchartz listed and we'd never know unless Capcom owned up to it. I know they list 380,000 copies, which considering when it came out and the crap in mass that overshadowed it then that's not terrible, likely it made some profit as a 100K games on a Wii short of some blockbuster budget mess would do it there as it's a gamecube budget going on, not an overinflated HD one. Still though considering as many Wii's out there, 380K is not great, but also as vgchartz is missing NPD haters data it may have moved 500K for all we know.

Well, crap! Would you be interested in an Xbox 360 version of Red Dead Redemption w/ the gold guns code packaged in?

Or any of these games (PS3 games included)...

I think we should try to stabilish what "underrated" means.
In my opinion, even games with good scores can be underrated.
I think by underrated we should picture a game that people tend to:
1) Not care about, because it's cover;
2) Not care about, because it's publisher / developer;
3) Ignore, beucause it seems weird / silly;
4) Ignore, beucause it''s marketing wasn't well planned.
5) Not know about, because it's a bit obscure.
BUT, even with these above factors, the games must be good / enjoyable. Not awesome (although they sometimes are), but good. Underrated games are, before anything else, games that just didn't receive the proper look, the proper "rate".
There are other factors, but i don't know, for me, underrated is really clear, just difficult to explain.
For instance, Trace Memory for DS. It was a underrated game, but some people played, liked it, and spread the words, then it got popular.
The Ooze and Haunting Starring Polterguy, for Genesis, are other examples.
I don't think No More Heroes is underrated at all. It's, sometimes, overrated (don't get me wrong, I love this game).
Most (if not all) ZOO published games are not underrated just because they are not good.

So...
Underrated = games that usually goes under the radar for most of people and / or are way better than it seems to be.

+1 Darkened Skye

I think all of these titles were either over-looked/shadowed on their release, or Underrated after it.

P.S. I noticed Excitebots was in the list, and whilst I agree it is probably one of the best racers on the Wii, I dont think it was Under-Rated, as it is known to be a great Racing game. So, for that reason (If we are using negative values) :-

Sorry no, have what I want of the games you listed there already or don't want em. I don't have the 360 either(don't trust the hardware), just the PS3 or I would take that copy. Damn shame though, as it would have been a good move on both our parts.
