Not really. Tenkaichi 2 is good but Tenkaichi 3 is better because it's longer and more characters(even though half of em are clones)

Is Wii Sports Resort really underrated? It even comes with one of the Wii bundles.

I meant as in people thinks that it's not good. I got many friends that thinks it's not good lol. But as in under rated, I guess not. But I'm still keeping it there for the haters.

Well, anyway, here are my votes (all +1):

->Indiana Jones and the Staff of Kings
Come On! It's Indy being an adventurer! How could it be wrong? I find the game really amusing.

I like to think that this is the Wii version of Katamari Damacy

Platformer, period.

-> Dragon Ball Z: Budokai Tankaichi 3
The 2nd game may have a better story mode, but the third one is just perfect to play on Wii. Just try to play it with a friend, it's awesome!

-> Final Fantasy Crystal Chronicles: The Crystal Bearers
Almost an adventure game, with little to do with the RPG genre. I like it.

-> Dead Space: Extraction
This.Game.Rules. "Buuuh, it's onrails". Screw you! You almost don't "notice" the game is onrails, so good the game was made (hmm, i think this sentence did not make much sense in English...).

-> Quantum of Solace
Poor graphics: Check. Poor presentation: Check. Awesome FPS: Check. This one comes to prove you don't need great graphics (seriously, look at Craig's face! its hilarious) to be a great game.

-> The Godfather: Blackhand Edition
It's a bit tedious at first, but when what i call the "real game" begins, it's really cool.

-> Scarface: The World is Yours
As told before, the closest to GTA you will get on Wii.

-> A Boy and His Blob
Some may disagree, but I believe it's really underrated. It's a fun puzzle platformer that, aside from it's launch, you don't hear much about.

-> We Cheer
-> We Cheer 2
STFU you bunch of narrow minded noobs, these two games are great (even if the second one is better). Everybory tends to think "uck, cheerleading, blergh", but whem they played Ouedan or EBA they liked. This is EBA but with your whole body.

-> Alone in the Dark
As a Alone in the Dark franchise entry it may fail, but as an third person adventure game, it's really cool.

-> Avatar: The Last Airbender – Into the Inferno
In fact, all the three games are good, but the last one is the best.

-> CID The Dummy
Action platformer that most don't care.

-> Cursed Mountain
Horror game on the artics. Can it be better?

-> Dead Rising: Chop Till You Drop
I don't care if you can't face thousands of zombies at the same time like the 360 version, this game rules.

-> Disaster: Day of Crisis
I like to think that this is the Uncharted's prototype for Wii >-p

-> Mushroom Men
Almost an beat'em up.

-> Need for Speed: Nitro
What? A need for Speed game, underrated? Yep. I believe people just don't give this game the value it deserves.

-> Obscure: The Aftermath
Survivor horror with coop 2 player option? I'm in!

-> Pirates PludArrr
Clastle Crashers for Wii, just without the online play and with less combos.

-> Red Steel
People tends to criticize this game, but if you give it a chance, you will notice it's one of the best FPS designed for Wii.

-> Spray: Spirited PRince RAY
Ok, this game have it's flaws, but it's a overall enjoyable experience.

-> Zangeki no REGINLEIV
It's never too much to speak of this game (the Wii Sword version of Earth Defence Forces)

I agree with you with nearly all these choices. I thought Disaster was really good, I might play through it again. Red Steel is good too.

1. Disaster: day of crisis- simply the best game ive played for the wii. it has metal gear, time crisis and shenmue elements in it. i wonder why is there no official US release for this game. still hoping for a sequel.

2. kororinpa - some think this is just shovelware. but its way more fun than monkeyball.

3. PDC Darts - best dart game for the wii. you will not enjoy it if this is on ps3 or xbox.

who decided no more heroes 1/2 is underrated?

both games have received scores of above 80% ,sold many copies and are some of the wii's best games!
the same with okami! it received scores of about 90%!
might as well include mario galaxy if we're gonna have no more heroes and okami.....
there are other games I dissagree with being "underrated" on the list but I'm too bored to go through them.

I guess they consider every game that is good but doesn't have a huge hype-thread commercial shebang to show it can be considered "underrated".

Can I throw in a +1 vote for sin & punishment 2? I know nobody who played it considered it a bad game...unfortunately, it's like nobody actually played the game to give it that consideration.

Further notes:

+1 marbles! Balance challenge (the PAL name for Kororinpa: marble saga). Okay...the story puts it very clear that hudson is aiming at an audience of about 6 months of age...but the ball rolling fun is about the same as the first kororinpa (and it has way more levels).
+1 endless ocean 2. That's right: the most adrenaline-pumping wii game ever has a sequel with better graphics, controls and even cleavage...it even has a STORYLINE!
+1 Shaun White snowboarding (both road trip and world stage). Yes, you'll need a wii balance board to enjoy this. But if you have one...oh, baby!

(I'd also rate wii fit plus a +1, but I guess that one's also too mainstream to be underrated)


As for overrated games...
-1 Madworld. Nice copy-paste job of Frank Miller's sin city...but that's about it. I'm against game censure, but in this case, it's just being gore for the sake of being gore. And as far as beat 'm ups go...I've seen better titles (just not on the wii...unless you count muramasa as a beat 'm up).
-0.5 no more heroes. This is just for the sake of the controllers. I know they couldn't quite make their game to be as sword-wielding as they should...but that doesn't mean I'm going to like their game. Oh, and the cartoony cell shaded style looks terrible on a CRT television; it's like someone spilled a bottle of grey ink over my TV.

+1 We Love Golf! - My favorite Wii golf game (yes, including Tiger Woods 2011 and the WM+...)

I'd look at Metacritic scores and consider "underrated" games with a score that's below a certain aggregate score. What that score is is up to you.

I see some flaws with that system. Citing "Zack & Wiki" as a sample, the game has pretty good marks at Metacritic (87) and i still thinking that it is underrated. I have many friends with Wii's, but none of them have played or ever wanted to play Zack & Wiki, even with the good score and my recomendation, because it's a "old" game and has childish looks. If we just look at Metacritic and list the games from highest score to lowest score, this topic would have no use. Just a opinion...

EDIT: just to make things clear: I was replying to HiroshiYamauchi.

Good points, but going by what friends think doesn't make a game underrated, as that can happen for a variety of reasons. It can be "unknown" (Zangeki no...something, battalion wars, dead space extraction). Or "in the wrong market segment" (kororinpa, a boy and his blob). Or it can even be bashed because it is different (Sakura wars). Or even worse: bashing can happen just because a name or franchise is too well known (need for speed nitro. wii sport resort. the sonic games!).

Going with metacritic is at least a fair way to give an objective criterium (my girlfriend simply cannot get the hang of Mario Galaxy...but I bet you don't want me adding galaxy 1 and 2 to the list, right?).

I'd -1 Sin and Punishment as I can't stand it, love the original though. So if anyone wants to mail me $40 for it, or trade me a nice copy of Red Dead Redemption (PS3) version (USA market only on both) let me know and it's yours as I want it gone and I'm not going to get raped by Lamestop's scammy deals to do it.


Also Hiroshi, vgchartz is terrible and very wrong. NPD can't get ratings from 3 of the largest game retailers in the USA (Walmart, Toys R us, and Target) as they refuse to share. I know Zack and Wiki did crappy, but for all we know they did twice what vgchartz listed and we'd never know unless Capcom owned up to it. I know they list 380,000 copies, which considering when it came out and the crap in mass that overshadowed it then that's not terrible, likely it made some profit as a 100K games on a Wii short of some blockbuster budget mess would do it there as it's a gamecube budget going on, not an overinflated HD one. Still though considering as many Wii's out there, 380K is not great, but also as vgchartz is missing NPD haters data it may have moved 500K for all we know.
