Hacking Unable to Wifi Update

Im having a trouble updating via wifi on my acekard2i. I have setup wifi connection and i can play Tetris DS online but i can't update or use homebrews that use WiFi. btw im using a Nintendo DS lite with AKAIO 1.8.1.

Did you ensure that you changed "Which Cheat DB?" in the options, make sure it says 'AKAIO (yusuo)'.
