Notes: Purchased from totaldiscountstores.com (which is an ebay store) Tested with a Sandisk mobilemate SD+ USB2.0 flash reader. My Card wasa almost full when tested. Haven't had a single issue with any game so far, it even whips Castlevania POR

BTW, I've Run the quick benchmark test 3 times & the results I've posted are the worst I've got.
I'll put my other card (Sandisk 512 MB) & publish the results asap.

Notes: Shipped with my cellphone. This card, which has some issues with problematic games (white screen which lasts a couple of seconds in most games (including nanostray, New Super Mario Bros, Castlevania POR) has benchmark stats specifications similar to those of my recently purchased Toshiba (J) 1GB uSD.

formated FAT16 with 64kb clusters
used in SCDSONE with no slow down in any game at all using 29/12/06 loader
SCDSONE score 2x but ive set it at 16x with no problems at all

I guess the Ridata isn't the winner. It crashes on PoR and speeds aren't what I had hoped. I don't understand, I tried several different readers and all the same. This card is suppose to be the fastest MicroSD you can get.

Notes: Purchased from meritline.com. I got it because it was suppose to be the fastest microsd card out there but speeds aren't as I had hoped. It also crashes on PoR.

Now I need to go buy a PNY card. Wtf do I do with all these microsd cards? The PNY will by my fourth and all I need them for is my phone and DS...and yes, I could buy an official cart for all this but it's about the principle man, the principle!

Tested with the R4 bundled USB MicroSD reader (different to all the pics I've seen on the net, a small translucent black one - seems quite sturdy/solid, if a little slow) which is obviously the speed bottleneck. I don't have any other adapter to test with.


I've had absolutely no problems with this card - tested 50ish games so far (including both castlevania games) - except for the 'none realtime' in tony hawk downhill jam.

A bargain at under £13 delivered.. =] £2 less than the kingston japan which is an identical card.

I just ordered a toshiba 1gb.. seems they are guaranteed japaneese flash and seem to work well.

What reader are you using farami? Results look identical to someone else's toshiba card but with used with the included reader.

Anyway, so far every game i have tried (except Worms: Open Warfare) has worked perfectly. MP3's included. The game i believe was just a bad file (in the process of finding a replacement to test). So yeah, not bad for $14.95 shipped.

*Edit: i used the Bonzai USB Flash Drive by SimpleTech, along with the included Kingston microSD Adapter, to test my microSD card.

Think some of those cards are fakes? Purchasing from ebay or Meritline may not be the best places. Lots of fakes coming from Asia. Maybe somebody could check with the manufactures to see if it's real?

Just a thought.

I think meritline is legit. They have great ratings and a few microsd brands have meritline listed as a site where you can buy their products.
