I been trying to get UMDGen for my PSP working on my laptop but somehow it just crashes on start up. I'm currently using Win7 Home Premium and this is the error I get.

try rebooting pc or first redownloading umdgen 4.00 then try to open it if still not work then You must disable DEP (Data Execution Prevention) for UMDGen.
Right click My Computer (Computer), Properties, Click Advanced, Click Settings button in Performance section, Click Data Execution Prevention Tab.

Select second radial button, and add UMDGen to the list. That should stop it from crashing as soon as it opens. does it help ?

i had this problem. And weirdly, the only thing that solved it for me was to install it to a different drive. If youve got a USB stick, try it from there. Worked for me

I tried that and I still get the same error. I also tried it from both my external and portable hard drives.
