Hacking UMDGen problem

I been trying to get UMDGen for my PSP working on my laptop but somehow it just crashes on start up. I'm currently using Win7 Home Premium and this is the error I get.

try rebooting pc or first redownloading umdgen 4.00 then try to open it if still not work then You must disable DEP (Data Execution Prevention) for UMDGen.
Right click My Computer (Computer), Properties, Click Advanced, Click Settings button in Performance section, Click Data Execution Prevention Tab.

Select second radial button, and add UMDGen to the list. That should stop it from crashing as soon as it opens. does it help ?

I tried that and it still crashes with the same error as before.

did ya try first removing umdgen then rebooting pc and then redownloading it ? i also use windows 7 home premium and i tried downloading and it worked

i had this problem. And weirdly, the only thing that solved it for me was to install it to a different drive. If youve got a USB stick, try it from there. Worked for me
I tried that and I still get the same error. I also tried it from both my external and portable hard drives.

the latest version 4 did ya try downloading it from the same site ? of the one you use Try to right click it, go to the compatibility section, and tick the option to be compatible
