Ok next question ...

The reademe file says "Rockband for example, needs IOS37 base merged with IOS36"

I get the impression you get asked a similar question when installing the cIOS. Does this mean if I want to play RB2 I need to install cIOS 222 from IOS37 merged with IOS36 ?

Is this going to affect whether I can play the other stuff on my HDD ie will it stop the other games from working or is the default option to not use cIOS 222 ?

Not at all. When you install cIOS 222 there is two cIOS more available to install. You must install all cIOS (three) and configure in uLoader what cIOS are going to use. When Hermes said IOS 37 base merged with IOS36 I think he refers to cIOS 223. So everybody can test any combination (and post the results, of course!) ;D

Addendum: do you know that Hermes implement "don't sleep mode" in his loader????

Ah, OK - i'll give it a try.

I presume the cIOS install will be straightforward in what to do ?

Nice job, I wish someone would implement the Hermes' cIOS 222 support to Ultimate Loader, or create a "non-gui", text based loader (with covers).

Install IOS222 base IOS36 as default

And install IOS223 (IOS37 merge IOS36) to plug USB devices (micros, guitars, etc) in USB 1 port

Then you only have to configure the IOS in the loader.....

This is an IOS222 feature, and you can hotplug/unplug devices without freezing....

Is there a direct channel for uLoader 1.7?

Animal Crossing is not freezing but Wii Speak is not working yet...

Thanks for that - just tried installing it and the menu(s) options were very confusing !!!

One other question as I am now not sure if my mic still works ... if I have cIOS9rev10 (the wanin one) installed will that stop the mics working even when I play the game through via a modchip through the disc channel ?

thanks, the images work great.

To get mine to work i just installed all the default cIOS with the cIOS installer. my mic works fine with all my games. I only use uniloader for my mic games right now and USB Loader GX V1for the rest of my games. I have about 130 games on my usb drive. No problems yet. I hope this helps. I also am on Wii menu 4.0 and have bootmii installed in my boot 2. I was on cIOS9rev10 before I ran cIOS installer

This might not be the best looking loader, but hey, it's the best one.

And hell, who wants to spend more than 5 seconds on a GAME loader? If you run it is just to run another thing.

I personally love the favourites idea (who can play more than 16 games at a time even if they're party games?)

Anything with games not working in previous loaders on NTSC? Like Little King's Story PAL or Monster Hunter G?

If you are using modchip, games are loading with Nintendo IOS...

Backup Launcher, loads with IOS249 (waninkoko´s rev)

USBLoader loads with 249

Anf finally, uLoader with 249, 222 or 223......

im trying to setup the wii usb loader for the first time.

When i plug in my 4gb flash drive and load uloader 1.7 i get a black screen

when i plug in my 160gb 2.5" ide hard drive w/ usb adapter the screen loads but just the music plays...

i installed the cios w/ the default options...any ideas? running 3.3u firmware

I am getting an error-1.. I have installed everything and switched around the usb but I doesn't work..All the other loaders are working with my HDD..Please advise.

sorry if this is a dumb quesiton but would launching the guitar hero games with IOS222 instead of 249 fix the "out of sync" ?

Yeah... or SSX Blur & House of the Dead 2 (from HotD 2 & 3 Return)?

can someone please post step by step instructions on install on 4.0? I have tried all different combos and I either get a -1 error or I get a black screen and my wii is frozen and I have to reset..Thanks

Is it the loader or the new cIOS222 or both that gives USB device support?

I noticed with uLoader v1.7 I could use a keyboard with ACCF even though it was using cIOS249
