1. New method "safe mode" was added.

I wonder what kind of purpose a 'safe mode' would actually have for the G6 :/

I assume this would make Mario Hoops work better. It keeps locking up and freezing from time to time. It also says in the manager that safe mode is not compatible with soft reset.

Another good thing is that the G6 team are now offering updates again, so now we don't have to download the full install every time there is an update. Thank god they did that it was really starting to bug me.

You are not still running that 'fixed' rom are you? ;P
I've played it for about 3 days now and it hasn't frozen/locked once.

So does anyone have a clue what this new "safe mode" is good for?

Maybe someone from Japan will crack the region code on the G6 Lite. I guess G6 is planning a Japan only release too...
