Chinese New Year maybe here, but Xecuter does not take holidays, so they are back again with yet another update!

To help ring in the Year of the Pig, here is a Happy New Update, this time for their SX Installer App, with v1.4 bringing with it New Features for you to enjoy trying out on your modded Nintendo Switch console, during the Spring Holiday Festival.

SX Installer is back with another update!​

Now available in V1.4, it adds several features including support for homebrew install and auto update.

• Added paging of game icons for large collections to lower memory consumption.
• Added support for Retroarch ROM icons.
• Added support for SFTP and FTPS.
• Added "Homebrew Store" for downloading, installing, and updating SX recommended homebrew applications, including SX Installer itself.
• Ability to dump updates and DLC's to NSP from XCI titles.
• General UI enhancements.

Since be a developer doesn't always mean code and all that stuff, just the fact that he is the one who upload the updates (and if I'm not wrong, he revealed to be part of Team Xecuter) and also takes feedback makes him a developer

So by being part of a team which does illegal stuff, but I personaly don't, I am automaticaly doing illegal stuff? And did Xecuter said that he is part of their team? Does he have access to illegal stuff? That's all pretty important. Unless has access to the illegal stuff and uses it, sure he does illegal stuff. Otherwise no. (My opinion on this).
Promoting piracy on the other hand.. idk how legal is that (probably depends on country too)

SX OS could do illegal stuff, also all CFW could be used to do illegal stuff like install pirated games... but StargateNX is strict paid service with illegal games... IDK why you're not see the difference

I waited 2 minutes. I will try waiting 10 minutes and see if that helps. Maybe a first run thing? idk.. Does your screen go completely black?

Edit: It loaded after 4 minutes of black screen. So that's that.

Mine does it every time.

this update takes like 15 seconds to boot up for me and then crashes a lot.

No, it's much faster for sx os to load xci/nsp from a hard drive, than it is for this app. This app takes ages to read the contents of the drive, also this app seems to crash the switch every time I exit out of it back to the switch dashboard (or whatever it's called).

Also as it's been stated the xci loading sxos has is because they incorporate copyrighted code from a legitmate game which is piracy

For me promoting CFW isn't bad, but promoting piracy service like StargateNX is illegal for sure for me. Gbatemp is agaist piracy and know that "promotion" will be harmful for site, because all threads related to this service was blocked.
