Hello I am a user of an old 3ds. I use the TWiLight menu and I was just wondering which emulators it uses.

Another question is how powerful an old 3ds is. Which console is the most powerful it can emulate?

Thanks

Twilight Menu doesnt use emulation that I'm aware of. It plays them natively in the 3ds's NDS mode via bootstrap.

Not sure what the most powerful system is it can emulate but the new 3ds to this day does a pretty poor job of N64, while PS1 is getting better. That to me would suggest N64 on old 3ds is terrible and PS1 isn't much better. You can always stick to the available RetroArch cores and see what happens.

Twilight menu does use some emulators for consoles like NES, snes, gameboy, genesis but if you want to emulate those on your 3ds you should probably find 3ds apps that can emulate them
