Yeah I noticed the shortage of Scarletite way too late. Where can I get some more Scarletite or Dark Matter if anyone knows?

You can't get more Scarletite through the story after you complete the game. I think you can only get it as a quest item in the Shibu-Q Head shop, but you need dark matter.

I think the easiest way is to use Joshua to fight Beat during week 2 on Ultimate difficulty. One of the recommended strategies is to chain the battles before Beat so that you have Joshua's level 3 fusion ready for Beat. Now, if you don't have enough Scarletite to get Ultimate difficulty or Joshua's 3rd level fusion, then you can get 1 dark matter from 10 shadow matter as a quest item.

I'm having trouble killing pigs before they run away, I'm stuck on "Another Day", when you have to use only Mus Rattus pins. You have to defeat the noise on the first level, including the pig apparently, I just can't inflict enough damage to erase it, as it is constantly running.

I was also stuck on that one. Don't try to take on Another Day directly after finishing the game. You'll have to level up alot before you take it on. The most convenient way is to go for the other Secret Reports and level up on the way, killing two birds with one stone.

An easier way would be to fight his boss symbol on Chapter 1, Day 4.

That way he won't run off if you don't kill him fast enough.

Anyone know how to defeat that stupid noise #74? (well I'm guessing it's 74 since the one right before it was 73)
it's a pig with weird little horns on it. I'm in that tower on "another day" on floor 10 or 11.

I don't know, I was never able to beat that. just move on, it's probably not THAT great a pin.
and if it is... well you'll probably find a stronger one with the same psych later, or the same pin.

edit: oh yeah, does anyone know about how to beat that horned blue pig yet?

That Tin Pin Slammer game is quite easy to beat actually. Use the pin's whammies (Special attacks) using the directional pad and slam into the other pin as its stunned. The spike trap one is a good one as the other pin tries to slam into you. If you time everything and aim correctly, you can get through quite easily.

and I figured out how to beat that noise. Does anyone know where I go after beating that huge guy who stole the pins in another day?

Megumi Kitaniji (Shades) is the conductor, just like he says at the start of Week 2.

did u meant Kariya? i beat him with Joshua (Lv.80+), and use Neku as backup attacker while leveling up Josh's fusion to at least Lv.2. better equipped them with high attack & defense items (from secret reports)

i dont have problem with any other matches, except this one.. coz these guys can rack up PP so fast, while im stuck at 17 PP or so at the end of match. well, i guess it just a matter of skills..

btw, which pins do u like best for Tin Pin? i'll post mine later when im home..

You go back to Molco and you should battle "Red". Then you should battle the guy who made Tin Pin. You get Tin Pin Bahamut from this battle.

1. as of this post, this thread has more posts than the mario or zelda topics, so this should be stickied.
2. you beat the blue pig by attacking it on both screens at the same time.
3. when you battle Red at molco, you don't have to beat him. just the guy afterwards.
