I recently purchased a pack of amiibo cards. I opened them up and relized that they were really flimsy, especially for something I will be handling quite a bit, and that cost almost a dollar each. I decided I would protect them to be able to carry them around without any worry of bending/breaking. I first put all the cards into a penny sleeve. I had 100s of them sitting around from when I collected pokemon cards a few years back. Once in the penny selves I felt a lot better about carrying them around, but I was still worried about bending them, so I dug out a stack of the hard plastic top loaders. To get the best dust protection for these cards I put them into the top loader upside down. I then used clear tape and covered up the hole on the top loader so that there would be no way for water/dust to get it.

Now, my amiibo cards are nearly indestructible!

Tl;Dr

1. Put amiibo cards into penny sleeves
2. Put the card upside down into top loaders
3. Use clear tape to seal off the ends of the top loaders.
4. Now, enjoy dust, scratch, bend, and water proof amiibo cards!

The protection does not affect the functionality of the amiibo cards in any way, but it will make them last 10 times longer!
