is it real as reported by wololo? If I download youtube now, I won't be able to use tubehax?

Drats. Well, I can do without homebrew. I really only used homebrew to install themes and play SNES games.

Even if you already have the youtube app installed you can't use Tubehax anymore.

The fix was server side, so it didn't require a youtube app update to be released.
