Hacking Trying to Run Netflix on Hardmodded Wii

Hey guys I modded my Wii a long time ago with a Wasabi chip.. over a year ago and I'm trying to get netflix to work right now.
I was reading this thread about it, but it's for a softmodded Wii : http://gbatemp.net/index.php?showtopic=261...t=0&start=0

I'm not sure what I have to do to get it to work without bricking my Wii.. is there anything special needed to be done?

There are probably only a few specific IOS's which need to be installed for it to work. Im not sure what, but that shouldnt be too difficult.

I think I might be forced to update the Wii to download netflix from the shop... not sure if thats safe or not. Is it different for a hardmodded Wii?

No. if you can actually access the shop in the first place, it shouldnt force you.

Or you can always do a search for the netflix wad and install it manually without going to the shop.

I actually installed Netflix to my softmod Wii last night, I don't think it would be any different with a hardmod...
I used ModMii from the Sticky at the top of the forum (http://gbatemp.net/t207126-modmii-for-windows), and downloaded IOS56 & the Wii Shop Channel v20 (latest) and installed it with a WAD manager. Once that was done, Netflix is a FREE download from the Wii Shop Channel. I'm not sure if there is any special IOS is needed for Netflix, but don't quote me on that.

If it did, then when you downloaded it from the wii shop channel it would install it

Thanks so much, haven't updated my softmodded Wii in a long time so I followed ur instructions and used ModMii to get the wads and just installed them using wad manager. Was able to log into the shop channel and download Netflix without a hitch.
