I remember when EBA came out there was some songs where the cover was actually a bit better than the original and I remember trying to use the sseqrip/strm2wav tools from http://loveemu.yh.land.to/ to extract the songs. Now, I tried to do the same with Ouendan 2. Unfortunately, I forgot how I did it with EBA so it's not surprising that I'm having problems trying to extract the sound files so I can convert them. If it's like EBA, I'm guessing Ouendan 2 uses STRM but how do i extract that?

isn't it a lot easier and better to find the mp3s instead? They are popular songs in japan, not made just for Ouden 2.

Unpack the rom, find the sound_data.sdat.

Code:
sseqrip.exe -strm sound_data.sdat
strm2wav.exe *.*

Find the pieces, stitch together in a wave editor, encode to .ogg.
That's how I extracted You're The Inspiration from EBA.

Do share when you're finished.

The quality isn't bad, were you ripping the download play songs? If you used the sound extractor posted on the first page, then its the folder with 300 odd files, not the folder with only about 10
