Hacking Trying to downgrade from 9.7.0-25U, browserhax problem

I'm following Plailect's guide - https://github.com/Plailect/Guide/wiki/Part-1-(Homebrew)
When I get to step 8, I get "An error has occurred.." every time, instead of loading homebrew menu.

Any ideas? Do I just have to keep trying or did I miss something?

Check if you have homebrew boot.3dsx on your SD root, and initialise savedata, try again. If it doesn't work reboot and keep trying, eventually inisialise savedata. Try changing the date and time back to 1/1/2000 and 00:00 again

Oh yeah, make sure your 3ds has made the theme management data(just change to any theme if you don't have any theme and it will do it)

Yes, I have the boot.3dsx on my SD root. I'll keep trying. I did switch to the black theme already. Thanks


Okay I'll try setting the time/date too.

edit: Almost got it once now out of like 50+ tries but it still went "An error has occurred.."

Try deleting your savedata again, then when in the home menu press L+R to bring up the camera, press the QR button and scan the QR code on http://yls8.mtheall.com/3dsbrowserhax.php
Needs a couple tries but always does the trick for me.
