Well it all started when I downloaded the version 7.0.1 to update my switch offline with choidujournx. I installed it without exFat. After that everything went wrong. I couldn't turn the system on and I thougt it was bc of my version of hekate (I use the euclala dongle with version CTCaer 4.3 I think.) or bc of cfw version. I installed the lastest version of atmosphere and I tried to run it with the primary fusee.bin payload but sometimes it got stuck on the logo of atmosphere, other times it was black screen after nintendo logo and sometimes it was black screen since the biggining. Then I've been looking for info since the beggining. I tried to download some things I found in a forum and put them on the sd card but I got the error: Welcome to Atmosphère Fusée Stage 2! Now performing nxboot.
Fatal error: [NXBOOT]: Failed to detect target firmware! Press power to reboot
Well I'm really noob with this and I would really apreciate your help :)

- What firmware were you on prior to updating?
- Is AutoRCM on?

Anyway, start by updating Hekate to 4.9.1 on your dongle, i don't see a 4.3 release on github, but it might be too old anyway.

Got a nand backup? If so, restore that

If not, do you have your biskeys?

IF you do you can attempt a manual choidujour downgrade to restore, which I'm happy to help with

I am in the exact same boat. I cant find my Nand Backup.
I also clicked the non Exfat button on ChoiDujourNX like a fool. So maybe that's my issue?
Any help would be appreciated.

yall im torn... ive been hacking away at tales of phantasia GBA (the USA version) and have so many documents of reverse engineering i've done
  • TwoSpikedHands @ TwoSpikedHands:
I just found out that the EU version is better in literally every way, better sound quality, better lighting, and there's even a patch someone made to make the text look nicer
  • TwoSpikedHands @ TwoSpikedHands:
Do I restart now using what i've learned on the EU version since it's a better overall experience? or do I continue with the US version since that is what ive been using, and if someone decides to play my hack, it would most likely be that version?
  • Sicklyboy @ Sicklyboy:
@TwoSpikedHands, I'll preface this with the fact that I know nothing about the game, but, I think it depends on what your goals are. Are you trying to make a definitive version of the game? You may want to refocus your efforts on the EU version then. Or, are you trying to make a better US version? In which case, the only way to make a better US version is to keep on plugging away at that one ;)
  • Sicklyboy @ Sicklyboy:
I'm not familiar with the technicalities of the differences between the two versions, but I'm wondering if at least some of those differences are things that you could port over to the US version in your patch without having to include copyrighted assets from the EU version
