wiitdb.com is already supporting Triiforce mrc images (192x112) and forwarder covers (160x224) for WiiWare/VC

And I have a new version that already download images from there, I'm waiting for Waninkoko's cIOS rev19 if I need to change something.

Well I've tested all 3 programs out now, the 1MB trimmed/scrubbed ISO i get from wiiscrubber will not show up in USB Loader GX, most likely cause it took stuff out that it should not have, the best i got was the .wbfs file 4MB working 100%

The thing that baffles me is when i open the 32~ MB iso in any of the wii game manager programs it says ISO size 2MB but i cant get it to create an iso that is actually 2MB, only ciso (which isnt supported by all loaders) so i dont want that, Anybody know more about how these iso's might get scrubbed?

The ISOs reported size is not the size that it occupies on disk.

Forwarder ISOs only take up a couple of MB once installed to a usb drive even though windows reports the size of the ISO as larger.

Most people are using drive that are hundreds - maybe thousands of GBs in size, the 2-4 MB that a forwarder occupies isn't really that much when you are looking at millions of MB in disk space.

Keep in mind that the forwarder is designed to 'look' like a wii game disc so has to maintain the correct structure in order to work.

The main bit to be concerned about is the actual space that is physically used, and not the size of 'disc' that is reported to windows

Nice one Marc! I can't wait to see this one in action! A very wise and thoughtful move you are taking there. Good to see the top devs all working together in Harmony!

this is going to be a very noobie question but some of the wiiware I have is the NTSC version (and I have a PAL Wii). I have changed the region using ShowMiiWads but when I try playing them in Triiforce SOME of them hang on a green/black screen [ and the only fix is to pull the plug on the Wii ].

I haven't tried running them of the Wii system memory (installing via Wad Manager) but I assume that will have the same problem.

I have also checked which IOS the 'hanging' games need - and I have them (as other NTSC wads also need the same one and they work fine).

Anyone got any ideas what I am missing / doing wrong ? Should I be doing somthing in addition to changing the region ?

Have you tried installing Priiloader with the hacks.ini file for your sys menu version? I did that and enabling the region free options in that seemed to work for me. I have a pal wii with ntsc wiiware running from triiforce and I didnt need to change the region at all in showmiiwads, might be an option for you to try? Note: that some games are not compatible with triiforce and installing them to virtual nand using sneek nand dump with showmiiwads might be the only way you can get them working. I also use uloader 4.9 and cios222 v5 to get stubborn games working. Give priiloader a shot and try the hacks.ini but backup your nand first if you have bootmii as boot2.

I hate to ask again but nobody has had any answers and i'm not the only one with this problem. These are guotes..

My 1.5 tb external seagate freedesk just will not work with triiforce mrc.

I made a 30gb fat32 partition. I made it using diskpart (disk manager in
win7 likes to put some empty space in front of the first partition).
This partition is the first and only partition.
This partition is marked active.

This part is crazy: I can load up the SS USB ONLY version, and triiforce
WILL start up (so it's able to read the hd at first). Unfortunately, it
gives the "I can't find title list" error.
I get the same result when running the MULTICONSOLE sd version.

More crazy: I can use my maxtor 300gb external with no problem, using
exactly the above steps (making a 30gb partition in diskpart). I even
copied the contents of the maxtor directly to the seagate, to make sure I
had the same setup. Triiforce also works with my 4gb usb stick no problem.
I only have problems with this 1.5tb seagate.

Furthermore, I know the seagate is supported by ios222(usb loader gx works)
and ios249(nes fce works).

I would appreciate any other tips guys. Thank you for your time, and the
great app.

I'm having the same problem but but with 2tb drive. works on my 1tb fine but not 2tb.

That seems to be the problem...Is this REALLY the only partition on the drive? So you have 320 GB fat32 and the other 1.2TB is just unallocated space? very good job, that is what i would recommend as well.

Very simple formula here, 2 partitions. 1 FAT32, use a good program to format (like EASEUS partition manager) and make the FAT32 primary and active. other partition can be whatever.

The IOSes must be installed to the actual system memory.

I realise that and they all are installed in the system memory.

Yep, I know that but the games that don't work for me inc games that are shown on triiforce_mrc's screenschot eg You, Me and the Cubes

What's the difference between that and using triiforce ? Oh wait ... you mean using Sneek and so the Wiiware actually looks like it's a normal channel ?

Yeh, this is basically a dump made for sneek with the necessary files and the boot loader installed. I did this on a spare 2gb sd card. Then you can point the location of the files to showmiiwads on the pc and remove the channels you have on there and extract game wads to it directly. Boot this up in the wii and you just have the games that want that dont normally work. This will work for any wiiware game as far as I know. I have done this and had them working no problem. This is currently all Sneek is good for as by default usb and app sd loading is not enabled. But it can load wiiware from itself.

The region free options in preloader may improve compatibility in some areas (although not a great deal) it will protect you when installing ntsc wads to the nand and not brick the wii for example.

I have problems with some wiiware that is confirmed to work. Space Invaders get even gets past the menu and hangs, lets catch doesnt work amongst others. I'm not quite sure why this is? there may be differences between wii revision hardware causing this?

Ok, installed Priiloader and went into the system hacks section and set "region free everything" to enabled. And then rebooted the Wii just to be the safe. Sadly, the same wads hang in the same way

Is there anything I need to change in BootMii to take Priiloader into account ? Priiloader is set to autoboot to system menu and when I turn the Wii on I get the BootMii screen (with the 4 icons) which then goes into the health and safety screen [ if I hold reset before then I get the Priiloader menu ]. Is Priiloader actually running ?

Yeh this behaviour sounds normal so dont worry! It sounds like you have everything installed ok. As for the issue with the wads, are you sure its not the wads themselves? Also make sure you have cios 249 revision 17 installed correctly on your system. Maybe you should try and install this again?

first off, i think ur asking this in the wrong thread

secondly, just install a properly patched system menu IOS in order to play pirated wiiware/vc channels via your system menu

Arrrrr Jimlad! peices of eight! shiver me timbers! X marks the spot! Arrrr!

yar tis true xflak, thar be pirates among us.

will the newer version that will work with rev18/19 still be compatible with rev17 or does it have to break compatibility with 17? if it does break, can we get a dual release one for each rev?

Wow, I almost finished porting all images to wiitdb.com
I'm very tired, anyone can help me?

My image repository still has 39 images to port to wiitdb.com.
If anyone can continue porting the images it will help me a lot.
You don't have to upload PAL and NTSC versions of every image, just upload one of them. Triiforce mrc v10 will only need one of them. Example: if your game is P and the image is not on the server, it will try to download the E version. Just remember to create a page for every game and to put the correct ID (or Triiforce mrc will fail downloading images!).

EDIT: You don't have to upload the images at the bottom that does not have ID (because they are not released yet or some that I don't own and I don't know the ID), of course.

the formula just doesn't work on my drive. i use easeus, make the first partition fat32, make it active. It just doeesn't work. I have tried on 2 different 2tb drives. The other guy has tried on his 1.5tb drive. It works fine on my 1tb drive and on my 250gb drive. Everything else works.

Triiforce mrc v9 (emulated NAND from SD card) not working using Waninkoko's new Rev19 CIOS.

It was working great in Rev17, I had 8 games all showing up with pics and playable. Now Triiforce just says ERROR No Titles Found when loaded
