So, i tried to install triiforce in mw wii 4.2E with softmod.

But i'm always getting the error "title no found", and i'm 100% sure that i did everything right from the tutorial i followed.

So, in my last attempt, i put the wad file (in this case Lost Winds (wiiware game)), in the "wad" folder on my SD, and through the Wad Manager i installed the game. And for my surprise, the game works fine, i can play it without any problem, adn it appears in the channels.

So, my question is, do i really need the triiforce to play VC or Wiiware games??

Or can i just install all the games through the Wad Manager??

That's exactly what you can do. Which firmware are you running on your wii? If 4.0 or higher, you can use the Wii's Data Manager and transfer them to an SD card and play them from there (If you see the SD card on the bottom right of screen).

How to Launch WiiWare and Virtual Console Games from the SD Card

Even using this feature, the system still takes the game writes it to the nand and then removes it from the nand when your done. much like installing and removing with wad manager.

Yes, but if he cant get Triiforce to work, this option is just as good as having the 1 game installed in the NAND, but he can have more installed.

That's true. it does make it more convenient then using wad manager but it still does the same thing basically.

Just install the WAD as usual and then use this method in the link...

Nice, thanks.

So, the thing is, even if i uninstall the game, there always will be occupied space in the NAND by tha game, is that it?

Bmcs, you mentioned the LostWinds.. If I recall, I couldn't get that game to work at all on Triiforce. Anyone else confirm it working?

No it removes the game from NAND after you play it.

The space on the nand will not still be occupied but it is constant writing and erasing from the nand. flash memory has a finite amount of writes. it will eventually go bad. the constant writing and removing will speed this up. this is why it was a crappy solution to the lack of internal storage.

Which cIOS are you currently using? I had a problem with Triiforce and the "Titles not found". It worked after I went back to r19 or r17.

You can use SysCheck to see all the IOS in your system. Or use Multi Mod Manager, that also shows you the rev of the CIOS you use, or you can also use DOP-MII Wiibrew edition, you can view the version of every IOS installed on your Wii. Hope this helps.

I do have Multi Mod Manager.

And i just finished installing the Triifroce, and again i receive the same error, when i try to launch it, i get the error "No titles found". However, i used the game World of Goo...and still nothing...

EDIT:

- My Wii version is 4.2E
- It's using Softmod
- I'm using a 2G SD card (not an SDHC)
- I used this tutorial: http://www.wiihacks.com/recommended-faqs-g...ve-sd-card.html
- I used the App "Triiforce MRC v7 AUTO SD"
- My SD structure looks like this:
