ROM Hack transferring dp save to ss via pokesav question

if i rip my sav file from my official dp cartridges can i load it in pokesav to have all the same pokemon then load it in ss pokesav to convert the save over and load it in my ss rom? if not whats the best way to get dp pokemon to ss rom

I just traded my Pokemon over from my official Platinum to my SS rom on my Acekard. Then I made a copy of the SS save and traded everything back. Then I had all my Pokémon on my Platinum and on a save of SS.

What you can do is dump your Diamond save, open it in PokeSav DP, and save the *.pkm files. You can save *.pkm files individually or by boxes. Then open your SS Save in PokeSav HGSS and load the *.pkm files.
