My New 2DS XL recently stopped working, which I am pretty sure is due to a motherboard failure. I will likely be buying a new console to replace it, so if it is possible, how could I recover the data from the broken system and transfer it to a new one? Keep in mind that my old system no longer works at all, not even Luma or GM9 will boot up.

Do you have any backups made from the old console you had?

ntrboot can sometimes work when nothing else does.

Anyway, this guide should tell you what you need to know. Be sure to read the entire thread.
My system cannot boot, i wouldn't be able to use ntrboot or any flashcards

Read that again: ntrboot can sometimes work when nothing else does. Just because your system isn't booting now doesn't mean it won't boot with ntrboot.

If you're saying you have no way to set up ntrboot on a flashcart, then that is indeed something of a pickle if you can't get a flashcart with ntrboot pre-installed.
