Homebrew Transfering .GCI files from SD to memory card

Hi,

I am trying to transfer a .GCI save file to one of my nintendo manufactured memory cards through the wii.

I have tried three homebrew applications, they are: Gamecube Saver, NuGaSa, and GCMM.

Gamecube Saver does not work for me because I get an error that tells me that gc_saves folder is non existant. Which it is.

NuGaSa doesn't work. I get to the main screen and it tells me to press 1 to backup or 2 to restore saves. But when i press them nothing happens.

GCMM doesn't work because it doesn't work with 1st party memory cards. Although on their download page it says that to fix the problem the devkit has to be updated to support 1st party mem cards. The devkit has been updated but no new GCMM version. http://code.google.com/p/gcmm/updates/list

So I was wondering if anyone has a working solution to this problem or if someone can recompile GCMM with the new devkit.

If you have a USB Gecko you can use gecko card. It transfers .gci files to the gamecube memory card perfectly without problems.

I always used MCBackup with SDGecko, which works fine with official Nintendo memory card.
you need to boot it in gamecube mode, it's a GC homebrew (use swiss, or SDload to boot the .dol from SD Gecko).

I don't know "gecko card", is that a homebrew, or are you talking about the SDgecko card?

It is a pc application you use with GeckOS 1.06d Gamecube addition.
