Hacking transfer saves from one wii to another

I'm planning on ditching my lu64 and buying a different wii, but of course i need to transfer my save files, so what would be the best way to go about it?

theres only two methods

1] copy all the saves to your sd card through the data management settings

2] use savegame manager to extract your save and then install on another wii
