Homebrew Transfer of saves

Hey guys. Basically I wanted to know if it was possible to transfer a ROM save onto an original cartridge. I've been playing Pokemon Heart Gold(there's a shocker for no one.) and I plan to buy the game so I can use the pokewalker and such, but I've put a lot of time and effort into the rom and was hoping that I could transfer it all to the new cartidge. Is it possible?

When I read that I thought you were being putulant. I don't think I shall go down that road, hopefully by the time I get it someone will have it solved in an easier way.
