I recommend, personally, FTPD (as .cia). I use it nearly every day, if I swap savefiles between PC/Sd-Card.
But for really big files, like .cias of games, it will be better to connect the sd-card directly to the PC.

I dont understand the installation. Do I just download the .cia file and install it? Because it says "You must first install and set up devkitARM and libctru. Clone this repository and cd in the resulting directory."

I can pm you a mega link if you need it, but you can just use windows's native file explorer instead of filezilla.
